Our mission is to eradicate period poverty through comprehensive health initiatives, educational programs, and resilience-building activities.

We strive to create a Nigeria where girls lead empowered, healthy lives and excel in STEM fields, contributing to societal development. Through strategic partnerships with local/international organizations and schools, we promote menstrual health, improve access to sanitary products, and enhance sanitation facilities.

    Our initiatives include:
  • Developing educational materials on menstrual health.
  • Fostering STEM ambitions, and sponsoring high-achieving girls in STEM disciplines.
  • We also empower girls through life skills programs and advocate for policy changes that support menstrual health in national and local agendas.

The EmpowHER Project is committed to creating a supportive environment where girls can thrive, become leaders, and drive positive change in their communities and beyond.

What We Do

We carry out health and menstral sensitization, hold outreaches in secondary schools and provide sanitary towels to girls who might not be able to afford them.

Education

We develop educational materials on menstrual health, fostering STEM ambitions, and sponsoring high-achieving girls in STEM disciplines. We also empower girls through life skills programs and advocate for policy changes that support menstrual health in national and local agendas.

Sponsor a High-Achieving School Girl: Fund a high-achieving girl student interested in STEM disciplines through university.

Empower Girls: Offer programs focused on life skills, self-confidence, and leadership development for girls. Facilitate partnerships with local organizations to create a robust support system for girls with menstrual health challenges.
